Steamboat Ski Town, U.S.A. FIS Continental Cup

Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation and the SSWSC are pleased to host the 2017 Steamboat Ski Town U.S.A. FIS Continental Cup! This exciting event has attracted top countries in the world including countries like Japan, Germany, and Norway to send their high level International/World Cup level competitors, making these competitions among the highest level the SSWSC has ever hosted. Competitors from the ages of 16-28 will all compete against each other in the same class, with several of our best local athletes flying off the HS75 up to 250 feet through the air. After Jumping, competitors will then ski a 10-kilometer cross-country race at Howelsen Hill, starting in the rodeo grounds. Steamboat has a long history of hosting premier Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined events but we haven’t hosted an international event of this caliber since 2010, making this event a unique and special opportunity to view the sport of Nordic Combined in person.
