NINE OLYMPIC RACERS

Nine Olympians recently returning from the 2022 Beijing Olympics plan to race in Steamboat Springs this week! Come watch the fastest athletes in our nation take to the cross country and alpine race courses in the NCAA Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Championships ! This CU Invitational triples as the 10th Annual Spencer James Nelson Memorial Invitational and the NCAA Western Regional. This is the final qualifer for the NCAA Championships in March!

Some of the most noticible Olympian names who will be attending include Team USA cross country athletes Novie McCabe and Sophia Laukli, who teamed up with Jessie Diggins for the strongest results the USA has ever seen from cross country at the Olympics.

Additionally, the SSWSC welcomes back Alpine Olympian Katie Parker, who skied with our teams in 2017 and 2018 after graduating high school and before joining the University of Utah on their ski team.
