SSWSC Work Deposit

The work deposit is a one-time fee that is paid in addition to program fees at the time of registration. The purpose of the work deposit program is to ensure that workers are available and motivated to assist with SSWSC athletic and special events. The hours attributed to the work deposit program are considered the minimum amount of work time needed to operate the many events produced by our non-profit organization.

Families with more than one child participating in the SSWSC pay only one work deposit. Families with athletes in different programs, pay the highest applicable work deposit fee.

Work deposit amounts may be earned back throughout the season at a rate of $5 per hour for family members who are 14 years old & under and $10 per hour for those 15 and over. Work deposit cards are available at the SSWSC office to keep track of hours worked. Each time hours are worked, it is your responsibility to get your work deposit card signed. The amount worked off is refunded when completed cards are turned into the office. No deposits will be refunded on cards turned in after April 30 th.

Please note that completed work deposit hours may be donated back to the SSWSC as a tax deduction at any point in the season or can be applied to next year. Additionally, whenever possible, we encourage parents and athletes to “volunteer” and give of their time freely, as many already do. For additional information concerning the work deposit policy, please consult the SSWSC Handbook.
