Howler Alpine Slide
Steamboat’s most exciting summer attraction, The Howler Alpine Slide, is fun for the entire family. Enjoy scenic views of downtown Steamboat Springs as you ride a chairlift to the top of historic Howelsen Hill. Using a sled provided to you at the top of the lift, you are in control of your exhilarating ride as you wind down a 2,400 foot track through the bends and curves of the natural landscape of beautiful Howelsen Hill.
Located downtown off of 5th Street, past the Rodeo Grounds, at the base of the chairlift at Howelsen Hill.
2012 Rates
Ages 7 and up
1 to 4 rides $10.00 per ride
5 to 9 rides $9.00 per ride
10 to 24 rides $8.00 per ride
25 rides or more $7.50 per ride
Children ages 2 - 6: $5.00 per ride and must ride in sled with a paying parent or guardian
Weather conditions may affect operating hours. Individuals under 18years of age must have a Llibility Release Form singed by a parent or legal guardian in order to ride the Howler Alpine Slide. Children under the age of 2 are not permitted on the Slide.
