Steamboat Devo Amateur Team (ages 13-18)
Steamboat Devo Amatuer (Devo AM) Team is for athletes interested in developing their off-road skills, endurance, and competitive prowess through participating in group cycling activities and generally learning about competitive cycling. This program is perfect for those interested in competing in local races or the Fall high school team and maintaining their fitness throughout the summer. Athletes will learn the importance of stewardship and fundamental trail maintenance while working on designated trail work days.
Minimum ability requirements: Mountain biking experience and desire for physical and mental challenge.
Minimum equipment requirements: 26”-29” mountain bike with disc brakes, cycling helmet, cycling gloves, sunglasses, water and spare tube
Beneficial equipment: CamelBak, bike shorts, clipless pedals
DATES AND TIMES:
Early Season: May 16 - June 1
- Tuesday & Thursday, 4:00-6:00pm
Regular Season: June 6 - July 28
- Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday, 7:30-10:00am
