Gigi Boyd and Kendall Harrington Compete in the 2024 Snowboard Cross Junior World Championships
Two SSWSC athletes, GiGi (Virgina) Boyd and Kendall Harrington, represented the United States last week when they competed in the 2024 FIS Snowboard Cross Junior World Championships April 5-7, 2024 in Gudauri, Georgia. According to the FIS website, athletes from 17 different nations competed in both the individual snowboard cross race and the mixed team event, underscoring the talent depth among junior participants. Athlete GiGi Boyd was 13th overall in the women’s snowboardcross, and her team was 14th in the mixed team event. Kendall Harrington, who also attends Boston University, was 27th overall in women’s snowboard cross and her team was 18th in the mixed team event. Congratulations to these two incredible athlete for qualifying for the World Championship events.
