Week of November 9, 2009

Saturday and Sunday were very productive for the mogul athletes that went to Copper Mountain.  Coaches Rob Day and Nate Bird organized the camp and Jr. Free coaches Corey Prager and Travis Crooke helped out.  The team spent Saturday getting their ski legs back since many had not been in ski boots for over a month (most had been training at the water ramps).  Sunday had the groups split (post-grads and undergrads) and some serious training went down.  The groups reviewed drills and determined goals for the season.  In addiiton, some serious urban dictionary was studied in the evening.

Tuesday was the start of dry land training for the Jr. Free group.  They played capture the flag, football, dodge ball, and Red Rover.  In addition, the team did some physical condtioning and aerobic training.  Many of the athletes got cold towards the end of practice.  Please remember to send them with coats, hats, layers, water, and a snack in the future.  In addition, the weather will be turning soon, so make sure your athlete wears boots and waterproof clothing.  Bumps and Jumps starts dry land training on Wednesday.  We look forward to a great season with them.
